Another One (or two, or three) Bites the Dust

I would like to say that my lengthy absence is due to being busy making out with countless hot guys, unfortunately that would be a lie.  In fact, I've barely even had a crush in the last year.  Life has kept me too busy in my other pursuits to really be on the prowl.  I'm hoping the near future will bring a change in my fortunes.  I'll have to start looking elsewhere, though, as several of the people who have graced these pages are off the market. For example: 

Jersey: Married

Jasper: still with That Other Girl

Crocodile Dundee Too: married

Maverick: married

El Guapo: engaged

In an effort to spice things up, I allowed my flatmate to convince me to attend a mid-singles activity last weekend.  My expectations were extremely low so it wasn't too difficult to exceed them.  I pictured a bunch of bald, toothless, sweaty divorced dads.  I was pleasantly surprised when they didn't all turn out to be toothless.  It was a generally enjoyable evening and I relished being on the young end of the group and one of the better-looking ladies there.    There's another one coming up in a couple of weeks, so watch this space for developments.
